Q: Is there a change in the expansion or other properties of the stone when using Cbite Stone Enhancers?
A: From our extensive in-house studies, independent labs and research companies, our stone enhancers will not alter the stone's average working tolerance.
Q: After I trim a model containing the Cbite Stone Enhancers, I have noticed flakes instead of dust. Is this normal?
A: Yes. You will notice flakes instead of dust because both liquid products have resin incorporated into the formula. This is another benefit of our product; it will decrease the airborne dust that comes with trimming.
Q: How can I prevent bubbling when mixing Cbite Stone Enhancers in the stone?
A: An easy way to prevent bubbling is to pour the liquid first and then the stone.
Q: When using the Cbite Stone Enhancers, is it normal for the model to shine in areas I have trimmed?
A: Yes. Our unique mixture has resin incorporated into the formula; as a result trimmed areas will have a shine. If you buff the trimmed areas it will have a polished look.
Q: Are any of the Cbite's Stone Enhancers hazardous?
A: The liquids are non-toxic materials. The MSDS safety sheet will further explain safety precautions. (Resin-it™ MSDS, Epox-it™ MSDS
Q: What is the difference between Resin-it™ and Epox-it™?
A: Resin-it was formulated to turn regular die stone into resin-fortified stone. Epox-it will turn regular die stone into an epoxy-like material.
Q: Are there any recommended trimming burs for the Epox-it™?
A: Yes. We recommend trimming with carbide burs. If trimming with the arbor band, we suggest trimming on low speed. However to obtain optimal results we highly recommend these trimming burs.
Q: If the material has settled to the bottom of the bottle of Resin-it™ or Epox-it™, what should I do?
A: You should shake the bottle thoroughly.
